Cheap Condo Sanibel Island

Found

The star Gliese 581, in the constellation Libra, about 20 light years away, has been the focus for many astronomers in recent years. The telescopes have detected the signals of multiple planets orbiting this "cold" star, at least 2 of them near the habitable zone of the solar system (a region where Earth-like planets could have liquid water on its surface)

Now a team led by Steven Vogt and Paul Butler announced that it has detected a planet, this time within the habitable zone. Based in 11 years of data, their work offers what may be the first potentially habitable planet has been found around a nearby star.

This artist's impression shows the interior of this system exoplanetary. The planet has been designated as Gliese 581g, but Vogt calls it "The World of Zarmina", by the name of his wife. Current data indicate that the planet would have a circular orbit 37 days Earth, an orbital radius of 0.15 AU (astronomical units) and a mass 3.1 times that of Earth. We propose that the radio can be 1.5 times that of Earth, and its surface gravity of 1.1 to 1.7 times.

Finding a potentially habitable planet as "close" to us suggests that there may be many more in the Milky Way.
